Current Openings

Administrative Assistant – Part-Time (Remote)

Location: Remote (must be based in the United States)

Hours: 15–20 hours per week

Reports To: Executive Director

Position Overview:

The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to the LevineFam Charities Inc team, ensuring smooth daily operations and helping us serve our clients efficiently. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to general emails and phone inquiries.

• Schedule and coordinate virtual meetings and appointments.

• Maintain digital records, databases, and filing systems.

• Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations.

• Assist with donor communications, including thank-you letters and receipts.

• Support event planning and virtual workshops when needed.

• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1+ years of administrative or clerical experience (nonprofit experience a plus).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

• Comfortable using Zoom and other virtual collaboration tools.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay based on experience.

• Flexible scheduling (within standard business hours).

Housing Counselor – Full-Time

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 remote)

Reports To: Program Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one housing counseling to clients.

• Assist clients with affordable housing applications, eviction prevention, and mortgage debt relief.

• Maintain accurate case files and records.

• Stay updated on housing policies, tenant rights, and local resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, or related field.

• HUD Housing Counselor certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to LevineFam’s mission and values.

Community Outreach Coordinator – Part-Time

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Reports To: Outreach Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations.

• Organize housing education workshops and events.

• Distribute informational materials in targeted neighborhoods.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior outreach, community organizing, or nonprofit experience a plus.

• Strong public speaking and networking skills.
